Dataset on Bulk Milk Tank Performance
Description
This research collection encompasses milk storage monitoring and quality assessment from three dairy farms located in Toledo, Spain, combining automated sensor readings with laboratory testing conducted at LILCAM (Laboratorio Interprofesional Lácteo de Castilla-La Mancha). Data was collected across the following periods: Farm 1 from August 3, 2024 to October 15, 2024; Farm 2 from November 27, 2025 to January 27, 2026; and Farm 3 from January 15, 2026 to March 15, 2026. - Storage Tank Monitoring: Continuous measurements of temperature and agitation recorded by IoT sensors operating continuously within the storage tank, capturing thermal fluctuations and mechanical agitation cycles. - Environmental Data: Daily weather data, including temperature and humidity, sourced from the nearest AEMET meteorological station, enabling analysis of environmental influences on storage conditions. - Quality Assessments: Laboratory analyses measuring fat content, bacterial counts (cfu/ml), somatic cell concentrations, urea levels, and additional quality indicators. Data is organized in CSV files with separate documents for each measurement category and farm.
