Dataset on Bulk Milk Tank Performance
Description
This dataset includes comprehensive data on milk storage conditions and milk quality collected from a dairy farm located in Talavera de la Reina, Spain, during the period from August 3, 2024, to October 15, 2024. The data were collected through a combination of on-farm sensors installed in the milk storage tank and laboratory analyses performed at the LILCAM laboratory (Laboratorio Interprofesional Lácteo de Castilla-La Mancha). The dataset consists of: - Storage Tank Data: Continuous measurements of temperature and agitation recorded by IoT sensors installed inside the milk storage tank. The sensors monitored the tank 24/7, capturing detailed data on temperature variations and the mechanical agitation process. - Meteorological Data: Daily weather data, including temperature and humidity, recorded at the farm location. These data were obtained from the AEMET (Agencia Estatal de Meteorología) station nearest to the farm, allowing an assessment of the influence of environmental factors on the milk storage process. - Laboratory Quality Data: Comprehensive milk quality analyses, including parameters such as fat content, bacteriology (cfu/ml), somatic cell count (SCC), urea concentration, and other key indicators of milk quality. The data are stored in CSV format, with separate files for each data type.
