The dataset includes whole-rock major element, Zn and S concentration data (Table 1), U and Th data and 230Th ages (Table 2), and whole-rock Sr-Nd-Pb-Fe isotope data for different samples from the SWIR Fe-Si oxyhydroxide deposits. In addition, the supplementary tables include a summary of the location, water depth, classification, lithology, description, and mineral composition (Table S1), Mössbauer parameters for different Fe-Si oxyhydroxides (Table S2), as well as whole-rock trace element concentration data (Table S3) for different types of samples in this study.
