Bolted Bracket Stress-Screening Dataset
Description
This dataset contains computational data developed for stress screening of a bolted bracket under bounded variations in selected input parameters. It includes 3,125 factorial benchmark cases, normalized input coordinates, nominal and outer response values, weighted response scores, and supporting machine-readable files for verification and reproducibility. The dataset is intended for sensitivity analysis, uncertainty-aware stress screening, benchmarking, and comparison of computational methods. The synthetic factorial cases are not experimental measurements and should not be interpreted as additional nonlinear finite-element solutions. The reported finite-element reference cases are identified separately from the synthetic benchmark data.

Steps to reproduce
Download the dataset files and keep the original folder structure unchanged. Open the CSV files containing the 3,125 factorial cases and verify that each case has a unique identifier. The normalized input values, weighted scores, and stress responses can be recalculated using the parameter limits and reference values provided in the accompanying metadata and verification files. The Excel workbook can be used to check the calculations directly because the normalized coordinates, weighted scores, and response values are reproduced using visible formulas. The supplied MATLAB script can also be run to read the CSV files and regenerate the reported plots and MATLAB figure files. The reproduced values should match the nominal and outer reference responses within normal numerical precision. The 3,125 factorial cases are intended for computational stress screening and benchmarking; they are not additional experimental measurements or separate nonlinear finite-element simulations.
