Description

Our studies focus on many spheres: air pollution quality and human health; contaminant biomonitoring and assessment; persistent organic pollutants. In our work, we evaluated that the morphological and physiological characteristics of leaves had the greatest influence on the uptake and accumulation of PAHs by plant leaves. This conclusion provides a theoretical basis for the establishment of a reliable plant atmosphere-monitoring system and a method for screening tree species with strong PAHs adsorption capacity.
