The TGA data when plotted helps to show the difference(s) between raw maize tassel and the synthesized maize tassel -silver nanocomposite in terms of thermal stability. The FTIR spectrum elucidates on the functional groups of raw maize tassel powder. The BET data when plotted shows a microporous isothermal curve for MTAg derived activated carbon The XRD data when plotted shows the extent of crystallinity of the materials.
