*This is the experimental data for : "Measurements of exhaled airflow velocity through human coughs using particle image velocimetry, Build. Environ. 202 (2021) 108020. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.buildenv.2021.108020." *The data contains ensemble-averaged coughing airflow velocity that varies with time at positions of x=0.5-3.5L, shown in Fig.9 and Fig.10 of the paper. L represents the mouth width. *The female and male data are ensemble-averaged separately in different folders.
