Description

This dataset contains the photometric simulation results of 80,000 different combinations of luminaire installation layouts of metal halide-based public road illumination systems. The luminaire siting was one-sided, maintenance factor was 0.80 and the results were obtained for a standard observer as defined by the pertinent international standards and guidelines. The input parameters were: standard average luminance coefficient (Q0, in sr^-1), standard specular factor (S1), luminous flux (φ, in lm), luminaire power rating (W, in W), luminaire power per unit road length (τ, in W/km), road width (b, in m), overhang (yl, in m), luminaire mounting height (h, in m), pole spacing (S, in m) and tilt (δ, in °). The output parameters are: average luminance (Lav), overall uniformity of luminance (U0), longitudinal uniformity of luminance (Ul), and energy efficiency of lighting installations (SL).
