Carbon and nitrogen concentrations and isotopes for the vegetation types in Brazil

A total of 6480 tree leaf samples were collected from 57 sites of the major Brazilian biomes encompassing the following main vegetation types according to IBGE (2012) classification. All samples included in this paper were analyzed at the Laboratory of Isotope Ecology of the Center for Nuclear Energy in Agriculture (CENA), University of São Paulo (USP).
