Description

"Trichomonads in BALFs" is a gallery of micrographs. Micrographs of amoeboid trichomonads found in bronchoalveolar lavages are presented. They will help cytopathologists or parasitologists to familiarize themselves with this deceptive amoeboid appearance observed in deep locations Pictures can be visualized on computer (MS-Edge, Chrome, Firefox etc.) or on smartphone (under Android only; no iOS version). Steps to reproduce

Pictures can be visualized on computer (MS-Edge, Chrome, Firefox, IE etc.) or on smartphone (Android only; no iOS version). On computer: 1°) Download the file "trichomonads_in_BALFs.zip" 2°) Unzip and put in the same folder - the file "Trichomonads_in_BALFs.htm" - the two folders "Fichiers" and "micrographs" 3°) Open the file "Trichomonads_in_BALFs.htm" On smartphone, for Android users (no version for iOS): 1°) Download the file "Trichomonads_in_BALFs_1_4.0.apk 2°) Installe it. Note: on some phone devices (namely Huawei and Xiaomi), Avast antivirus detect erroneously the Evo-gen virus in the Version 1 (Trichomonads_in_BALFs_1_1.0.apk). This bug has been corrected in the Version 2 (Trichomonads_in_BALFs_1_2.0.apk). Contact: christophe.duboucher@trichomoniasis-pathology.org
