Description

This data is the longitudinal sound wave velocity and Brillouin scattering data associated with the article titled, "Structure—longitudinal sound velocity relationships in glassy anorthite (CaAl2Si2O8) up to 20 GPa: An in situ Raman and Brillouin spectroscopy study" in Geochimica et Cosomochimica Acta. It includes two table: Table S1:The Brillouin shift (nVp) values and Table S2: The calculated Vp values based on the in situ high pressure refractive index data of Kuryaeva et al., 2007 (DOI: 10.1134/S001670290703010X).
