Description

Supplementary data for the paper: "Predicting crystal growth via a unified kinetic three-dimensional partition model" - Nature volume 544, pages 456–459 Included are electronic copies of all images and extended data images included in the paper. Seven supplementary movies are also included showing a variety of structures crystallising over time. These data show comparisons between real experimental data collected through AFM and SEM and simulations using our model (CrystalGrower). Our method relies on calculating the internal energies of species, and using these energies combined with driving force for crystallisation, calculate the probability of growth or dissolution of units of growth.
