Description
The data lists the raw assay data for a high throughput screen of DYRK1A to identity inhibitors (raw data for Table 1). The data shows the raw data for differential effects of harmine and analogs on two glioma cancer cell lines as assessed by Presto Blue for cell viability (raw data for Fig 2) and for cell proliferation, nuclear size and plasma membrane integrity (raw data fro Fig 3.)

Steps to reproduce
Screening data were generated by incubating compounds with DYRK1A using a TR-FRET assay and determining percent inhibition values. Data were generated in the laboratory by incubating compounds with cell lines for 72 h and measuring relative cell proliferation, nuclear count, nuclear area and nuclear YOYO-1. Dose response curves were plotted and IC50 values calculated using Graphpad Prism 7.0.
