Description

We use seasonally adjusted quarterly ln-US real GDP (1947.1-2018.2) from the US Bureau of Economic Analysis, annual ln-US real GDP per capita (1790-2015) extracted from Johnston and Williamson (2016) and ln-US MFP (1948-2017) as a proxy for technical change, extracted from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. Furthermore, ln-US LP (1950-2018) per person employed is derived from the Conference Board Total Economy Database.
