Description

Supplemental Figure 2 (Short Hair) and Figure 3 (Long Hair). A modified Sinclair scale for use in men with female pattern hair loss (FPHL). Grade 1: normal hair density; Grade 2: minimal rarefaction of hair on the mid-frontal scalp and crown; Grade 3: noticeable reduction in hair density (greater than Grade 2) on the mid-frontal scalp and crown; Grade 4: profound rarefaction of hair on the mid-frontal scalp and crown re-sulting in a “see-through” appearance; Grade 5: most severe stage of hair loss with little or no hair in the centroparietal region. NB: the anterior hairline is preserved in all hair loss severity grades. Supplemental Table 1.
