This dataset has been used in the manuscript titled "Weathering crust formation outpaces melt-albedo feedback on blue ice shelves of East Antarctica". It contains reflectance data collected in the field at Nansen and Hells Gate Ice Shelves (East Antarctica) through the Reflectance boX (RoX) and ASD FieldSpec spectrometers. Those data have been used to describe the negative albedo feedback due to weathering crust formation over the ice shelves which was found to be predominant over the melt-albedo feedback (for supraglacial pond formation). The dataset contains also locations and dates of acquistions of the spectral measurements.
