Social network analysis of bottlenose dolphins in relation to female reproductive state

Description

Data and scripts used to carry out a complete social network analysis of bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) in relation to female reproductive state.

Steps to reproduce

Using long-term photo-identification data, we constructed social networks and quantified multiple metrics describing individual social roles, including association strength, eigenvector centrality, clustering coefficient, and affinity. We compared the social positions of females across three reproductive states: cycling, pregnant, and lactating.
