Steps to reproduce

Data were collected electronically from university-level music students in Türkiye using the Turkish form of the Musical Self-Concept Inquiry (MUSCI). The Turkish form was produced through a structured adaptation process including forward translation, reconciliation, language review, back translation, comparison with the original form, and a final comprehensibility review. Prior to analysis, the dataset was screened for missing data, coding accuracy, and reverse-coded items. The shared dataset includes anonymized participant responses and demographic variables used in the study. Analyses were conducted in R and included internal consistency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and exploratory factor analysis.
