Description

The aim of the work was the measurements of amino acids (AAs) parameters of the pig blood serum and their correlations depending on the fattening duration. These results can be useful for animal health monitoring and husbandry, taking into account an increasing importance of pig farming and a share of pork meat products in human consumption. The final amino acid analysis was carried out using an LC-20 Prominence high performance liquid chromatography system (Shimadzu, Japan) equipped with a reaction module for post-column derivatization with ninhydrin ARM-1000 (Sevko & Co, Russia) and a column with ion exchange resin 4.6 x 150 mm (Sevko & Co , Russia). The samples were preliminarily subjected to acid hydrolysis. The results of the analysis of amino acids in the blood of Duroc pigs depending on the duration of fattening, as well as the correlation coefficients between amino acid indicators.
