Data for: Metallopolia, a new subgenus of Polia (Noctuidae, Noctuinae, Hadenini), with the description of two new species and a new subspecies

Description

Description of a new subgenus of the diverse Holarctic Polia from the south-eastern Palaearctic with the description of two new species from W China and one new subspecies from Nepal. Diagnoses of the new subgenus and species/subspecies are given. The taxa are depicted in full color. The genital structures are depicted, incl. all primary types of the concerned species. The work is a contribution to the project: Revision of the Holarctic subtribe Poliina (Noctuidae, Hadenini), principal investigator is Z. Varga The new subgenus is confined to one of the most important centres of species diversity in Eurasia.
