Description

The research hypothesis was that the combined application of vermicompost and NPSBZn fertilizer on potato will have influence on its growth and yield. The findings showed that the combination of vermicompost and NPSZnB had a significant (p<0.01) impact on several plant parameters, including plant height, the number of marketable and unmarketable tubers per plant, the total number of tubers per plant, the yield of unmarketable tubers, larger tuber sizes per plant, medium tuber sizes per plant, and small tuber sizes indicating high response of potato to treatments

Steps to reproduce

Treatments consisted of four rates of vermicompost (0, 2.5, 5, and 7.5 t/ha) and four rates of blended NPSZnB fertilizers (0, 150, 195, and 240 kg ha- 1) were combined in factorial RCB with three times replicated. Moreover, the treatments were applied on Gudane potato variety
