Interpreting the Effects of Fatigue, Motivation, and Attitude towards Employee Productivity: A Case Study on UMKM (Small Enterprise) of Krecek Krupuk Rambak
Description
This paper describe about Fatigue, Motivation, Attitude, Productivity, and expand to small business (UMKM) owner of Krecek krupuk rambak in producing. Krecek krupuk rambak is cracker snack that they have Employees play the crucial role in the production process, including if there is a target to achieve. Employees are given with assignments based on the proportional task that matches their expertise, however, the orientation of to-be-achieved targets and internal loads of employees can become problems that may potentially cause fatigue, decreased motivation and attitude, therefore, the productivity decreases. Such issues motivate the researcher to conduct an in-depth identification towards the analysis of fatigue, motivation, and attitude on work productivity with attitude as the intervening variable on employees of UMKM krupuk krecek rambak. This study used quantitative approach as the research method in which data analysis was performed towards 100 samples by using the backward method of linear regression to find a proper model that is able to represent the data, and eventually can be used in estimating or predicting the dependent variable. The inputs from the experts of the related discipline can not be ignored in building the best model. A good regression model is the model that has low scores of S2, CP Mallows, PRESS, AIC, BIC, SBC, while has high scores of R2 and Adjusted R2. Study results were acquired with a total sample of 100 employees. The statistical software used for the analysis in the study was SPSS version 16. The interpretation of the regression equation has shown that the productivity estimation is affected by the variables of motivation, attitude, and fatigue, for every additional unit of motivation, the estimated production will increase by 0.216 regardless of other variables, for every additional unit of attitude, the productivity will increased by 0.433 regardless of other variables, and for every additional unit of productivity, the estimated productivity will increase by 0.152 regardless of other variables.
