Description

The presented data correspond to the study of bioethanol dehydration over doped H-ZSM-5 zeolites. For that, a series of activity test over H-ZSM-5 zeolites with different Si/Al ratio (26, 280, and 371) were studied for the catalytic dehydration of crude bioethanol derived from distillation after sugarcane fermentation. In addition, Ce and Cu were incorporated as dopants to evaluate their effect on the activity and stability. In the folders you will find all the data obtained for each of the conducted experiments. In the folder called "Biothanol dehydration" there is an excel workbook called "Activity results" it contains the experimental data of the product distribution and yields obtained during bioethanol dehydration for different samples of bioethanol. Each of the worksheets corresponds to each catalyst sample. Also, there is a excel workbook called stability results" this field presents the results of a stability test for 140 h at 300 °C with Z26 and Ce-Z26 during bioethanol dehydration. The folder called "Catalyst characterization" have three excel workbooks which contain the data obtained by XRD, carbon deposition and acid sites. Also, there is a folder called "DRIFTS" that contains the excel workbooks of the experiments for all the tested samples. All these files contain the results obtained for each of the catalyst used and fresh samples.
