Description

This dataset contains 50 events of EAS detection by the Aragats neutron monitor (ArNM) at an altitude of 3200 m above sea level on Mount Aragats (Armenia). The multiplicity of “neutron burst” was determined from 1-s times series of count rate of the neutron monitor. The sequence of pulses from the neutron monitor was recorded by a Picoscope 5244B digitizing oscilloscope with nanosecond time resolution. The sampling rate was 250 MS/s, corresponding to a sampling interval of 4 ns. All events were observed on non-thunderstorm days. The dataset is organized as a table with 8 columns, the content of which can be filtered. The first column shows the event ID, the second and third columns show the date and time of the event, respectively. The fourth and fifth columns show the duration and the multiplicity of the “neutron burst”, respectively. The sixth column shows the near-surface electric field measured by the Boltek EFM-100 field mill. The last two columns contain hyperlinks to the 1-s series of count rate history of the neutron monitor and to the oscilloscope traces of neutron monitor signal for each of 50 events. The raw data for this dataset is available via the multivariate visualization software ADEI on the Web page of the Cosmic Ray Division (CRD) of the Yerevan Physics Institute http://adei.crd.yerphi.am/adei
