In this study, the efficiency of break-induced replication was measure by physical assays (PCR or Southern blot hybridization of genomic DNA) in wild type (WT) and cells with mutations in each of the replicative DNA polymerases, or in cells with conditional depletion of the replicative DNA polymerases. Full details of data collection and analysis are presented in the accompanying paper.
