The search for alternative resources to conventional raw materials makes it possible to add value to forage ingredients, which are a source of fibre in animal feed. In this study, Stylosanthes guianensis, a forage legume, was used as a raw material source of fibre with a view to producing feed containing recommended levels of fibre for growing rabbits. The data presented here correspond to the results obtained from the experiment and concern the zootechnical performance, carcass characteristics, physical and chemical quality of the meat, and the fatty acid composition of the LD muscle of rabbits fed with a control feed without Stylosanthes guianensis hay and another with 20% Stylosanthes guianensis hay.
