Description

A novel technique designed in MATLAB for natural plant fiber selection based on the chemical constituents of the fibers as well as the correlation between the properties of the fibers and their chemical constituents using different multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) techniques. Data shows all the properties and chemical constituents of natural fibers considered in this study. The following MCDM techniques were used: Simple Additive Weightage (SAW), Technique for Order Preference and Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), Combinative Distance-based Assessment (CODAS), Complex Proportion Assessment Method (COPRAS), Evaluation based on Distance from Average Solution (EDAS), Grey Relational Analysis (GRA), Multi-objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis Method (MOORA), VIseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno.
