Factors influencing physiotherapists to make a choice of specialization for their post graduation

Description

People now seek out improved evidence-based treatment due to advancements in health studies and increased public awareness. This was a cross-sectional online survey study conducted at MMIPR, (MMDU). The questionnaire was distributed to physiotherapy students via Whatsapp and E-mail. Out of 380, 241 responded and making a response rate of 63.42%. Of students who want higher education in physiotherapy 68.8% (166) and 23.6% (57) are not sure. The major factor influencing was their interest in the subject (89.2%), the possibility of high potential salary (76.6%), clinical perspective (80.2%), clinical postings (77.5%), employment perspective (70.8%), and serve the community and help others (60.9%). The major factor influencing physiotherapists was their interest in the subject, clinical perspective, experience during clinical posting, employment perspective, the possibility of high potential salary, serve the community/ helping others.
