Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients with Hip Fracture
Description
Data were collected from maintenance hemodialysis patients with hip fractures, including general information: age, sex, contact information, hospital admission number, comorbidities (hypertension, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases), post-fracture complications, enrollment date, and follow-up duration, with all-cause mortality as the primary study endpoint and date of death recorded. Fracture characteristics included fracture date, fracture site, and fracture type. Treatment variables included whether surgical intervention was performed, time from injury to surgery, and surgical procedure. Dialysis-related parameters included duration of dialysis, type of vascular access, dialyzer membrane surface area, blood flow rate, and dialysis session duration. Mineral and bone metabolism indicators included serum calcium, serum phosphorus, intact parathyroid hormone (iPTH), and bone mineral density (BMD), with total hip BMD (g/cm²) and T-score measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA). Nutritional and inflammatory status indicators included hemoglobin (Hb), serum albumin (Alb), and C-reactive protein (CRP). Cardiac function indicators included left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), pulmonary artery pressure (PAP), and presence of cardiac valve calcification.
