Olive fruit X-ray microtomography image dataset
Description
Dataset of gray level cross-section images from X-ray microtomography of 121 olive fruits of five different varieties, from two harvest years (2020-2021) from different farms of Campania Region (South Italy). Each folder contains the images of one olive fruit. A word file is included with the folder name codes to identify the harvest location of each olive fruit. Dataset was produced in the framework of the Campania Region project entitled: OLIVEHEALTH “Identificazione delle componenti salutistiche della filiera olivicola campana”, [PSR Campania 2014-2020 – Tipologia Intervento 16.1.1 “Sostegno per costituzione e funzionamento dei GO del PEI in materia di produttività e sostenibilità dell’agricoltura” – Azione 2 Sostegno ai POI - CUP B68H19005430008].

Steps to reproduce
Dataset images were obtained from X-ray microtomographic scans of olive fruits. Acquisition and reconstruction parameters are reported in the txt files in the image folders.
