Description

The coriander seed and leaf was assessed for proximate composition. The essential oil of coriander seed and leaf was obtained using hydrodistillation and the was optimized. The optimized yield was examined for physicochemical properties, total phenolic and flavonoid content. Furthermore, antioxidant, antimicrobial activities and oxidative stability of niger seed was assessed by storing at ambient temperature for 49 days.
