Procyanidin B2 promotes human female germline stem cell proliferation by upregulating the EFNA5 signaling axis

This data article presents a comprehensive proteomic analysis comparing human female germline stem cells (FGSCs) treated with Procyanidin B2 to a control group. FGSCs, which exhibit remarkable self-renewal capacity and the potential to differentiate into oocytes, represent a promising avenue for addressing infertility. This study aims to elucidate proteomic alterations induced by Procyanidin B2 in human FGSCs, thereby providing insights into its molecular mechanisms and therapeutic potential in reproductive medicine. Through a detailed comparative analysis of the proteomes of Procyanidin B2-treated and control FGSCs, we identified and quantified a large number of proteins, performed extensive functional annotations, and analyzed differentially expressed proteins. These data establish a solid foundation for understanding the regulatory mechanisms governing FGSC development and the potential therapeutic effects of Procyanidin B2, offering valuable insights for reproductive biology and medicine.
