Description

Windows-compatible hyperlinked Excel file of the 224.986 CDS and their functional annotation: This dataset includes an Excel file detailing transcript IDs, read counts, TPM (Transcripts Per Million) for each transcript, and the top protein matches across various databases. It also contains protein alignments for each transcript in multiple databases (hyperlink files). These data were obtained from a dual mapping of RNA-seq samples from in vitro infections by Leishmania and Crithidia parasites. A comprehensive analysis was performed in the manuscript "Unraveling potential determinants of intracellular adaptation by Leishmania and Crithidia through a dual transcriptomics of parasite-infected macrophages" (under review). The sequencing data was registered at Bioproject/NCBI under accession number PRJNA1098048. The raw data (reads; fastq files) were deposited at SRA/NCBI database under accession SRR37206615-SRR37206704.

Steps to reproduce

To properly use the table and access information on transcripts, including their nucleotide and amino acid sequences, as well as their alignments across various databases, follow these steps: 1 - Download all available files from the "Files" section (S1 Data.xlsx and links) and place them in the same directory on your computer. 2 - Extract all database folders from the 'links' folder and ensure they are stored there. 3- Open the spreadsheet 'S1 Data.xlsx', navigate to it, and, if relevant, click on the link to open the TXT file containing the required information.
