Fatigue behavior of a butt welded joint made of AISI 1015 steel and E6013 electrode

Welded joins are an important component in structures, by this reason is necessary to know the behaviour of these elements under cyclic loads. In this dataset is showed results for the fatigue test of the butt welded joint of AISI 1015 steel and Cuban manufacturing electrode E6013 as the contribution material. Fatigue test was realized within the ASTM standard in the MTS810 testing machine. The asymmetry ratio used was 0,1. In this study was obtained the fatigue limit equal to 178 MPa, at the cut point of 2 039 093 cycles.
