The article emphasizes the fact that after the conquest of Turkestan by the Russian Empire at the beginning of the 20th century, Turkestan became the raw material base of the Russian Empire. In particular, in 1887-1896, 26 million from Central Asia to Russia, the Imperial Treasury saved 61 million rubles (26 million x 2.38 rubles against 61.88 million rubles), because each pound of cotton fiber was 2 rubles 38 kopecks cheaper American cotton fiber. For the Russian Empire, many goods were exported from the country in various forms, using actual examples, the author explains that the consequences of the colonial policy pursued in our country at the beginning of the last century had their tragic consequences
