Description

Dataset of the Joint Log Lift Task carried out in 8 groups of farmed pigs (n = 92) over 9 consecutive days. Data was collected November 2019 at the University of Veterinary Medicine (Vetmeduni), Vienna, Austria. To use the data please contact Dr Jean-Loup Rault for permission. Variable description: Pen: the pen number of the group of pigs Backno: the number marked on the back of each pig for identification Eartag: the number of the ear tag of each individual Date: date of the test Attempt_alone: the frequency of each pig attempting to lift the log alone Successfull_lift: the frequency for each pig in lifting the log together with another pig Attempt_together: the frequency of each pig attempting to lift the log together with another pig, but not succeeding to hold it up. Touch: frequency of touching the log with the snout.
