Research data for the "Sedimentary evidence for long-term catchment isolation and drainage reorganization in endorheic basins of the hyper-arid Yungay Valley, Atacama Desert, Chile." The dataset contains results on grain size distribution, ph, electrical conductivity, soluble content, XRD mineralogy, XRF and ICP-MS geochemistry from a continuous 43-m profile in the Herradura clay pan.
