Description

This dataset includes high-speed images and mechanical time series from Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar Layered Tension experiments. High-speed images can be used to perform digital image correlation. File SmithGriffith2022_Images.zip contains high speed images and the Microsoft Excel file TimeSeries_SmithGriffith2022.xlsx contains axial and circumferential stress, strain, and strain rate time series for Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar Layered Tension experiments. See the manuscript “Evolution of pulverized rocks by tensile loading during successive earthquakes” with its accompanying supporting information for details on data processing and analysis.
