Description

We present trace element and stable isotopes data from study sites in the Baltic Sea based on benthic foraminiferal calcite. The data was used for reconstruction of seawater conditions during the last interglacial period (LIG). Our reconstructions reflect the evolution of seasonal temperature and salinity, rather than annual mean conditions.

The dataset includes foraminifreal trace element data (Mg/Ca, Mn/Ca and Ba/Ca) from six sites measured with ICP-OES and stable isotopes (C and O) from two sites measured with IRMS.
