Clearance of multiple cutaneous warts by targeting a single lesion: a randomized comparative evaluation of mild local hyperthermia versus cryotherapy

Medical Instruments A plantar wart patient is receiving treatment with a hyperthermia medical instrument, and a 2 cm diameter red facula is the treatment spot. Supplement III. Time course of the treatment and evaluation points. Participants were randomly assigned to receive hyperthermia at a temperature of 44±2°C for 30 min on days 1, 2, 3, 17, 18, 25, and 32 and cryotherapy on days 1, 14, and 28 on a single target lesion. At each time visit, the patient was assigned to a blinded evaluator to evaluate the status of all the lesions. Supplement V.
