This experiment was done to analyze the impact of dietary macronutrients on liver metabolome. In total we used 18 different diets and tested these on males of one mouse strain (C57BL/6). This file contains the individual data of liver fatty acid profile of male C57BL/6 mice exposed to one of 4 different diets. Dietary treatments consisted of two different levels of dietary fat (40 and 55% by energy) combined with one level of protein (30% by energy) with either casein (CAS) or whey protein isolate (WPI). Full details of the dietary compositions can be found in the supplementary table 1. Complete meta-data are in the meta-data tab of the file. Means for each diet derived from these individual values are presented in Figure S3C.
