SPSS Data Set Twenty-one males and females performed floor prone trunk extension exercises using three different exercise protocols of repetition and duration: 10X5s (D10x5), 2 x 25s (D2x25) and 5x10s (D5x10). Ultrasound multifidus (MF) thickness and rate of perceived exertion (RPE) on a 10-point scale were measure immediately after each protocol. Electromyographic (EMG) activation from the erector spinae (ES), MF and gluteus maximum (GM) during each protocol was measured using bipolar surface electrodes.
