We built a high-resolution single-cell transcriptomic atlas by sequencing cells derived from four different tissue sources, including surgically resected tumour (denoted as T), histologically normal adjacent tissue (N), lymphoid node (L), and peripheral blood (P), from a cohort of 27 treatment-naive donors with GC, covering two clinical phenotypes — subtype (diffuse, indeterminate, and intestinal) and stage (I, II, and III). Nineteen tumour samples were assayed by 33 ST sections, covering three categories of sampling locations in the tumour (core, in-between, and edge). In addition, we assayed 39 replicates from the main study cohort using ST.
