Data for: STEMI in coronary bridging: An unusual scenario

Description

A 48 year old gentleman presented in the ED with anginal pain of 2 hours duration. Electrocardiogram showed anterior wall ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and was taken up for primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI). Angiogram showed total occlusion of mid left anterior descending (LAD) artery. Plain only balloon angioplasty (POBA) to LAD revealed the coronary occlusion in a region of coronary bridging. STEMI in a bridged coronary is an unusual clinical scenario and needs a prudent approach for effective management.
