Description

This dataset contains 44-year (1981–2024) hourly data for four wind-solar plants in the upper Yellow River basin (qj/2tl/1tl/3tl, capacities 1500/500/1000/3000 MW). Variables include normalized power outputs (raw/installed capacity) and 26 ERA5 meteorological variables (4 spatial grids each) plus derived features. Timestamps are UTC+8. Time-averaged quantities (e.g., value at 12:00 represents mean over 11:00–12:00). Format: HDF5.

Steps to reproduce

Save the script below as read_data.py in the same folder as data.h5. Run python read_data.py. The script will list all available variables with IDs. Enter the ID of the variable you want to query. Then input the start and end time (format: YYYY-MM-DD HH, e.g., 2024-01-01 1 for 01:00). The script will display the first 30 rows of data. For multi-dimensional variables (e.g., meteorological fields with spatial grids), it will automatically save the queried data as a CSV file in the current directory. For 1D variables, you will be prompted whether to export all data to CSV.
