In this study, it was aimed to make assessments about medical education via Twitter, which is seen as an important tool in the sharing of different thoughts and opinions. The study was carried out using the document analysis method, which is a qualitative research method, and data collected via the Twitter interface were analyzed using the content analysis and social network analysis methods. The data were collected between 21.03.2021 and 18.07.2021 using the key phrase “Medical Education”. The data units that were extracted by MAXQDA were regularly classified at weekly intervals. The process of data extraction via the software ended when the dataset reached a size that made it no longer possible to make more classifications. In this step, 26250 posts were reached in total. These posts consisted of three types of posts, namely Tweets, Retweets, and Mentions. To analyze a dataset using the social network analysis method, the data should be first appropriately refined, transformed, and filtered.
