Description

The dataset consists of the coded segments and memos for the project titled The “Hungarian Model” – The Dialectical Relationship of the Self and the Other on the Background of the 2015 Refugee Crisis. The data was utilized for the preparation of an article with the same title. The research is part of my dissertation research. The following file contains the Qualitative Content Analysis of three annual addresses of the Hungarian prime minister between 2015-2017. After a partial revision, the analysis was moved from Nvivo to MAXQDA due to better software properties. The categories and their interpretation although did not change. The previously revised dataset is accessible at https://data.mendeley.com/datasets/29549vsy78/1. The text was analysed in the original language. The text was coded inductively. Particular sections of the text were coded according to the meaning they refer to. Firstly, categories of "We" and "Other" were coded (every utterance that referred to these meanings was included). After subsequent re-readings, the sections coded as "We" and "Other" were further coded into sub-categories. Also, parts of the text that referred to a threat were coded with a separate code "Threat".
