Description

The helps to search out the determinants of urbanization in case of Indian states especially focusing on infrastructure variables (both Physical and Social) as well as infrastructure investment. The study also attempted to differentiate the impact of various determinants on different Indian states which are grouped on the basis of Income. Interestingly asymmetrical impact of infrastructure variables on urbanization is worked out. This explains that the determinants of urbanization especially those related to infrastructure seem to influence our dependent variable differently.
