Description

This dataset is described in a paper submitted June 12 2020 for review, as a journal article by Rogers, Meylan, and Kohout. A working title is "Estimates of spectral wave attenuation in Antarctic sea ice, using model/data inversion". In Version 2 of this dataset, ki.Inversion1.v2.mat, the dissipation estimates, ki(f), are the same, but I have added an additional variable, E(f)/En(H), named "E_ratio_save". This is the ratio between the observed spectral energy density and the estimated noise level. Some users may be willing to tolerate more or less noise contamination than others. With this information, users of the dataset may decide how much of the data to include/exclude. An early version of the article (circa June 8 2020, so contemporary with version 1 of this dataset), can be found at https://arxiv.org/abs/2006.04978 .
