a) Antimicrobial activity is measured as MIC using broth dilution method. MICs of 20 dilutions of methanolic extracts of wild edible mushrooms Podaxis pistillaris and Termitomyces heimii against seven bacterial species. MICs values for each bacterium were measured based on the average inhibition percentage. b) Antimicrobial activity is also measured in terms of zone of inhibition at higher concentrations of mushroom extracts using Agar well diffusion method.
