This dataset supports the article “Generational Dynamics in Higher Education: Understanding the Impact on Students’ Grade Point Average.” It contains anonymized survey responses from students and faculty assessing generational characteristics, digital practices, communication styles, and perceived teaching effectiveness, along with self-reported GPA. The data include sociodemographic variables, Likert-scale items, and generational cohort classifications (Generation X and Millennials). All identifiers were removed to ensure confidentiality. The dataset is prepared for statistical analysis and aims to facilitate transparency, reproducibility, and further research on generational dynamics in higher education.

Steps to reproduce

The dataset was collected through an online survey administered via Google Forms. Any researcher can reproduce the data collection process by deploying the same questionnaire under similar conditions.
